Yoga for when you’ve eaten too much
We’ve all been there, when the second round of the holiday meal was too tough to turn down. Afterwards try this simple guided practice, fun for the whole family - “Yoga for Digestion, Yoga for When You Overeat,” by Yoga With Adrienne.
Gift Ideas for “Thriftmas”
I love the idea of thrifted gifts, mixing curated items with new to make a gift box, or turning thrifted items into a thoughtful DIY gift. I love that thrifting gifts is more sustainable and supportive of the local economy. Browsing the local thrift shop gave me a lot of ideas I’m excited to share with you.
This video gave me great inspiration:
For the tea lovers - find a cute pair of tea cups or tea pot and some silver spoons, pair it with your favorite tea blend.
For the coffee lover - cute coffee mug with their favorite beans.
For the new homeowners - vintage coupes or champagne glasses with a bottle of bubbly.
Candy dish - fill a colorful candy dish with home made cookies, treats, or even the shower steamers from the recipe below.
For the wrapping - I love the look of a thrifted scarf for wrapping or a statement bow that the gift receiver can use again!
Check out my blog post for thrifted gift ideas for the hosts, plant lovers, candles lovers, and vintage jewelry!

Home Energetics for the Holidays
It’s that time of year when pine decorations are all over. You can find pine wreathes, garlands, and real trees of all sizes to decorate your home for the holidays. Pine trees are full of spiritual symbolism that is not exclusive to the Christmas tree. Pine trees represent inner strength, wisdom, abundance, protection, and healing.
In Feng Shui a pine tree on the property symbolizes longevity and lucky health for those who live there. All living plants and animals on your property help to feed the chi (energy) of your home. If you are lucky enough to have a pine tree on your property, take time to care for it.
Placing a pine wreath on your front door can help protect all inhabitants, keep your family healthy, and attract wealth and blessings into your life. Add the holiday red bow and you’ve got an extra lucky wreath as red is an auspicious color in feng shui.
Pine cones are a symbol of abundance. I often see pine cones piled into bowls as decorative center pieces. Spray paint the pine cones gold for shiny holiday decor and extra abundant symbolism.
